Today's verse is Hebrews 11:40
God having provided some better thing for us, that they without us should not be made perfect.
After all is said, and whatever else we may hope for, even expecting to see, what do we truly hope for? Is it not partaking in the first resurrection? That Blessed Hope, when all that have trusted in Jesus Christ, even cleansed by his Blood which he shed on the Cross for us, that by His Resurrection we might also live. But we that are saved are not seeking to see the Day of the Lord, for even as God promised through Amos, Woe unto you that desire the day of the Lord!/ To what end is it for you?/ The day of the Lord is darkness, and not light . . . Therefore, seek not the Day that God will bring Judgment upon the Earth, but look for that day when he shall call his own home, and if you have missed that day, and have just now learned of Jesus Christ and his gift for you, do not delay in accepting it, for you are not promised tomorrow. Selah [Think on these things.] Amen.
To God be the Glory
