Today's verse is Psalm 144:1
Blessed be the LORD my strength,
Which teacheth my hands to war,
And my fingers to fight:
Today, the Man of God must not be a brawler, nor a striker, yet, could we count David as such a one? But consider the commandment delivered through Paul; Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, . . . And so, we must not only be willing to fight, but to fight with all our might against personal sin, against the desire to fit in, against all matter of the evil without that pervades the world, and then having stood, we must speak, and warn, that some of those that know not God, may learn of him, and having learned might Repent, finding their place in the Kingdom of God. Amen.
To God be the Glory
