Today's verse is Galatians 1:5
To whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
Do you give to God the Glory he is due? We have been told That we should rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven and again, But let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth me, that I am the Lord which exercise lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth[.] An aspect of Glory is to praise, and to understand the enormity of what it is to understand and know God, that is to have our names written in heaven, is to consider some, if not all, of the things that are considered lesser. The psalmist, even David, in considering the moon and the stars, asked what is man, that thou art mindful of him, yet God considers us, man, to be of more import than the stars, even as we see in the gospel, the Good News, for God himself, even Jesus Christ, the Son of God, his Word, took our place, when he died upon the Cross, that we might be found in His place, with Him, when we stand before the Father. Selah [This is but the beginning of the Majesty of God, and the Glory he is due.] Amen.
To God be the Glory
Scott
