Today's verse is Psalm 111:2
The works of the LORD are great,
Sought out of all them that have pleasure therein.
Did you know that the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him? Have you read how in an acceptable time have I heard thee, and in a day of salvation have I helped thee when Jesus Christ hung upon the tree for your sin? Then rising up the third day, that you might be saved. What of Haman, who, for his hate of the Jew, God’s People, was hanged upon his own gallows, just before God saved his people from his machinations. And what of the coming Hope, that Blessed Hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ? And if God was willing to do these things for us, what would he withhold from us? Are you seeking God’s Great Works? Amen.
To God be the Glory
Scott
