Reject The False Prophets, That Know Not God

Today's verse is Jeremiah 23:17
They say still unto them that despise me, The LORD hath said, Ye shall have peace; and they say unto every one that walketh after the imagination of his own heart, No evil shall come upon you.

Today, there are those that say they follow Christ, but say that he is the God of Love (He is) so, he will not Judge. Therefore, the scoffer says that God cannot be, because he will not judge the evil in the World. Neither have any understanding of the Word of God, neither do they Know who Jesus Christ is, nor what he has done, nor what he will do. Truly consider the Cross, and understand the suffering the Christ was subjected to, what he allowed himself to suffer for our sakes. In it you can truly see the terribleness and judgment of a Righteous God, but in it as well, you can see the Goodness of God, for the Righteous One died for the sinner, even as wicked as we are. Then consider the book of Revelation: who does it reveal? Does it now shew the Saviour in his Wrath, destroying that that refused his Wondrous Gift. Is not this gift of Salvation based on Knowing the Saviour, Knowing the Father, and who they (He) is. So, come now, do not fret, but fear the One that will Judge the Earth. Will you reject the false prophets that seek to deceive you, and seek out the True Word of God, that you might know Him that loves you, died for you, and rose up the third day, that all that will may come, and be washed clean of their sins, even by the Blood of the Lamb and his Word. Amen.

To God be the Glory
Scott
